Review on HENCKELS Knives Bread Knife 8 by Ryan Frawley

I bake all our homemade bread and needed to replace a bread knife my husband had damaged. YES Henckel was bought out so I enlarged the picture to make sure "German" stainless steel is still there. It happened so I ordered. The knife that arrived was not the one in the photo, NOT German stainless steel, but a cheaper fake from China. A terrible bread knife, wider than an ax blade instead of a thin bread blade. It's like cutting bread with a saw. All those high reviews on the web are for an old product, not a fake. Ditto for the paring knife set I bought. The same story. Pictured is not the real JA Henckel.
