We just received this item and we love it! We originally received ours and it was missing a magnet on one of the bars. However, customer service was quick to respond to my review and sent a new set and we are very satisfied. Love the container it comes in, the wands come in two pieces so you screw a wooden handle to the bottom and they roll up and down nicely. There were no instructions or manuals for the game, which was a bit disappointing, but making your own rules wasn't difficult. I love this game so much as does my 4 year old and 22 month old son. It's great for recognizing letters and animal names, and also helps with coordination when raising and lowering poles and "catching" sea creatures. It will also come in handy for math and adding dots to the back. All in all, this would make a great gift for any child! I'd say it's best for ages 3 and up, although my daughter is keen to try it too.
