Nice dual sport tire - I run it on my Surly Crosscheck, big enough to give a smooth and comfortable ride over rough pavement. Tires. But it also has enough traction not to kill you on gravel and non-technical dirt. Allows for "interesting manoeuvres" on dirt roads and trails while maintaining respectable handling and high speed both on and off-road. A true street tire would kill them. on good pavement (but then again, if you want to lug maximum ass on pavement BRING A ROAD BIKE) and a really gnarly one will kill it off-road. (As mentioned above, if you really want to break the bumps, RIDE A MOUNTAIN BIKE) But on a gravel, cross, or high clearance hybrid setup. it does both surprisingly well.
