GOLD (FIVE STARS) One of my favorite products I have ever bought. This is a great accent for almost any piece of art and I highly recommend it. However, it still requires a few powerful shakes to get through a small area. But it's worth it and I just love this product. A second coat is often required in some areas due to ink settling on the paper itself (140lb/300gsm cold pressed watercolor paper), which is to be expected with most gold/silver/metallic colours. BLACK (THREE STARS) Winsor and Newton claim their black inks are waterproof and while I know waterproof doesn't mean waterproof at all, these inks aren't even waterproof. I could easily peel it off my (watercolor) paper even after it dried overnight. However, it is ideal for washing because it dissolves well in water. Good quality ink but not waterproof.
