This is great. If you buy grips with a built-in bobby pin, you'll never find a bobby pin that's the right length. There aren't any long ones, and sometimes you even have to trim the shorter ones that are available to size. With these knobs, you simply purchase the length of stud you need. In my case, I often remove the handle/bolt and the bolt doesn't fit the handle very tightly. So I put a dab of hot glue on the handle before inserting the bolt. Apply very little or it will be on the screw and you will have to scrape it off. After the bolt was in, I filled in the remaining space above the bolt head with hot melt glue. It's there forever.
