Not for bank fishing! Will connect no further than 10 feet from the phone.

Product was easy to set up. I took it to the lake to test it out, it turned on and connected easily. I threw it about 20 meters into a lake that says "too shallow/too deep". I turned it back on and once I was about 10 feet away from me it started tracking 8 feet deep. The guy in the canoe with his finder said he was about 30 feet down where he wasn't reading. Every time he walked more than 10 feet from my phone he wouldn't read. As a fisherman from the shore, I am very disappointed.
