Review on πŸŽ₯ IPEVO DO-CAM Creator's Edition: Ultra HD 8MP USB Camera for Professional Visual Presentations and Communication by Sally Bienz

An excellent choice. You will not regret it.

I've used visualizers from AverMedia (budget 2008 model), Elmo (mid-range 2009 model), and Samsung (mid-range and high-end models). I choose this one. There are a few things you need to be aware of. In a non-coronavirus year, most teachers want to use a document camera for projection in their classroom. You will need a Chromebook or a computer to do this. You cannot project directly from this visualizer like you can with the ones mentioned above. You connect it to a computer and display it on the computer, and then project the computer screen. I've used it with a Chromebook and a laptop running Windows 10. The IPEVO Visualizer app for Chromebook is a slimmed down version of the Windows app. While the document camera says it supports 4K resolution, my Chromebook only allowed 640 x 480. I think it might just be a limit on this Chromebook's output or display. I couldn't adjust the brightness either. Despite these reservations, I still liked the camera. It has adapted well to low light. The colors are bright. The text is clear. It auto-focuses with every little movement, but it does so very quickly and without being overly intrusive. I would still like to use it this way. Then I used it with a Windows app and I LOVE it. The higher resolution (1920 x 1080) really made an impression. Lighter text, of course. The Windows app lets you adjust the brightness and lock the exposure so I don't have to readjust it every time I hit my car or camera. Year. If you are not sure about this, you can download the IPEVO apps for free and test it on your webcam to see how it is for a while. Note, however, that a dock camera will likely work better than a webcam.

Pros
  • Lightweight and compact. The DO-CAM weighs 335 g (0.74 lb) and is the size of a portable case. It's the lightest camera on the market, easy to use, store and carry.
Cons
