If I get a bruise, it will go away forever (depending on the severity of the bruise). I tripped once and hit my foot (yes, it hurt). Needless to say, a bruise formed immediately. I put ice on him as usual and then went upstairs and rubbed him with this oil. The bruise was a medium green color the very next day – it will be this color within a week after normal healing. Since then I've applied it to every bruise, even a small one, and the results have been amazing - the bruise healed within a few days. After researching arnica oil; However, I have found that it is highly toxic and should not be applied to cuts (or ingested naturally). From what I've read, this works because it draws white blood cells to the area, which promotes healing. As for me, I'm glad I don't look like I've been in a boxing match more than once :-/ :-). Note: does not work on age-related bruises. It should be applied immediately if there is a possibility of bruising.
