Bought 2 sets of these hooks for outdoor installation near the hot tub. I am very happy with the end result. The supplied dowels are very stable in a plastered wall and are easy to install if you have a masonry drill. The holes on the mounting plate are slightly elongated (1 vertical, 1 horizontal) to fine-tune alignment. The hook part is very firmly connected to the mounting plate when the locking screw is tightened. The first set I bought came with a square mounting plate, the second set came with a round mounting plate. I don't know why they are different, but both worked fine.
