My comments relate solely to the camera setup steps I followed: lit. 3. On the monitor, press and hold the camera setting button for 5 seconds and connect the 7-pin RV connector to your car. 4. Your camera should now be fully configured for your monitor. These steps do not need to be repeated! Your camera should automatically sync every time you turn on your car headlights. I hope this helps in not returning the camera thinking it is defective. And I'm only giving 3 stars because the manufacturer doesn't sync the cameras before shipping.
