I bought this on purpose because the manufacturer answered a question here on Revain that the device VGA signals would record at older resolutions and MS-DOS display modes. That is not true. I've tested with multiple DOS machines and multiple software recorders (OBS etc), only solid gray image in MS-DOS including full screen games/applications. It captures Windows 3.11 and my old Macos7 system, but the brightness is a little low on both and I had to spend an hour tweaking the video filters in OBS to get the brightness looking right. I'm giving 2 stars because I bought it specifically for MS-DOS capture and it doesn't work.
