Drag VGA to insert an image into our computer presentation image in OBS for our church. Computer sends VGA. Connection to a computer via USB. works great with OBS and looks great. Thanks very much!

Works surprisingly well

I bought this device for two specific use cases: capturing VGA output from Windows 98SE devices and capturing VGA output from retro PC platforms Color Maximize 1 and Color Maximize 2. In both cases, my use cases (all shots with this device connected to another computer with OBS with a base resolution of 1920x1080 and scaled to a 4:3 ratio). notably on the retro Color Maximite 1 computer. Doesn't capture 320x280 MS-DOS, works on win3.11 and older Macs

I bought this on purpose because the manufacturer answered a question here on Revain that the device VGA signals would record at older resolutions and MS-DOS display modes. That is not true. I've tested with multiple DOS machines and multiple software recorders (OBS etc), only solid gray image in MS-DOS including full screen games/applications. It captures Windows 3.11 and my old Macos7 system, but the brightness is a little low on both and I had to spend an hour tweaking the video filters in…
