The product is very stylish. However, it does have one downside: the sensor that is supposed to detect boiling water and switch off the device to prevent overfilling does not work as advertised. Also, the plastic pot gives the coffee a weird taste. Most importantly, the instructions are not very good. Coffee and sugar should be added to hot, boiled water, not cold. So once you have this coffee maker, boil the water first. This will prevent the coffee from sticking to the bottom. For me the taste was decisive - the coffee tasted like plastic. A metal or glass carafe would be a better idea.
