I changed the cushions on my couch and of course needed the dacron to cover it with foam. I planned the thickness of the cushions considering the thickness of the dacron. When I received the foam it was of the thickness I expected and was generally quite satisfactory. However, this dacron was a bit thinner than I expected and didn't help fill the pillow as expected. Of course I could order a thicker foam, but the next size up would be too big on its own. Compared to the dacron that was on the old pad (worn out, mind you), this one was a lot thinner.
