Installs in the filler hole on the drain plug. I hand tightened mine for easy removal after pumping in new fluid. Any hand pump that fits the bottles will do. I bought an extra 3/8" ID hose so I didn't have to run the pump under the car. I noticed that my particular pump was holding a vacuum so I had to detach the hose to check when the sump was full enough i.e. dripping from the filler hole.It took a little under 6 liters to install the sump, change the filter and go through the filling procedures including warming up the gearbox.For the sake of interest I noticed that only the drain plug was removed and It only took 2 liters to fill, so I removed the pan and replaced the filter to pour out more of the old liquid. This little tool made the refilling process smooth.
