This mount is better than I expected. The suction cup works very well, even too well. I had a hard time removing it after about 3 months so I could move it, but given today's phone prices, that's not a serious issue. I wish the top hinge was a little more nimble, but I've also tried positioning it in awkward spots so it probably won't be a problem for most casual users. This is a solid mount. Fixing and telescoping The support is very well fixed if you position it the way you want it. Clamping and unclamping the phone is easy and safe. I use my mount more upside down and the face of the phone is tilted slightly downwards, so this is probably the most unsafe way to use the mount, but the phone has never fallen out, nor did I have to struggle at all to put that down Pick up or let go of the phone. I thought it was a bit pricey before I got it but quickly decided it was a fair price after seeing and using it. I would recommend it.
