I'm not sure what the best choices are for this price range. Caution is advised while making a purchase: these headphones are open (!) Headphones, not recommended for people who enjoy isolating themselves from the rest of the world: Has some pros: In my opinion, this is a no-brainer:) Nice fit, open design to avoid damaging the ears, and increased protection while walking down the street. Although it is true that these are not reference monitor ears because they do not have a linear frequency response and fantastic resolution (when compared with AKG K217 mk II and Beyerdynamic DT880 250Ohm), I believe that they are a perfect alternative for comfortably listening to music while walking down the street. Having this drawback: However, 1) this can be readily corrected with an equalizer (for accurate sound correction, see the article on frequency response on ixbt) and 2) most people will appreciate it (although some people will still argue that there is not enough bass, but that is an entirely separate problem). If you adjust the width of the headband after you've already put it on, then you won't be able to painlessly part with several hairs when you remove the headband. A little, yet unpleasant)
