Maybe I just have a bad cable, but I'm assuming the cable doesn't actually support 48Gb/s and is only advertised as such; You don't expect it to be used for things like PC where color compression is turned off and bandwidth is really tested. In my case, the data feed was regularly interrupted, which led to frequent brief disconnections. Reading online my setup (4k @ 120hz, 4:4:4) was only supposed to be using 40Gbps so it didn't fit even when tested below its throughput. My replacement for this, Zeskit, is proving to be very good and I would suggest buying it instead.
