Review on ๐ŸŽง Sennheiser SC 165 (508319) Binaural Headset: HD Stereo Sound, Noise-Canceling Mic & Professional-grade Quality for Business Professionals โ€“ Black by Jason Hutchinson

I would recommend finding a moderate headset elsewhere

I bought the SC 165 just over a year ago knowing I wasn't at the top of the product scale but thought it would work as well as a headset for my home office after decades of good luck with Sennheiser. Little did I know it wasn't actually Sennheiser, but Demont's EposAudio division. Epos will not honor its 2-year warranty if the structural integrity of the product is compromised, which happened to me when the earbud fell apart on its stand. It's a simple product, there aren't too many problems with the electronics as they really aren't there, so a 50 cent condenser mic, 2 machine made headphone mini speakers, some cable and a plug. Since you can get an equivalent product without the famous Sennheiser name for less than half the price, and with no real guarantee either, I would advise you to do so. As mentioned, the distance from the mic to the mouth isn't adjustable, and there's no tone/volume on the cord. I can live with all of these things, but not so much with a dangling headset!

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
