This product will fail in a few years. I did mine in 2 years and flooded the entire basement. Not easy to use and not waterproof. Does not block moisture from products installed on underground pipes. Solution: Seal the plug-in part completely in the subsurface with waterproof foam so that there are no breaks in the water pipe etc. forever. The brass on the thrust piece will fail if left in water after heavy rain or flooding. A better product is needed, such as B. A cover for each type that fits over the product type and fits snugly to keep moisture underground. We expect SharkBite products at the 110% level, which will work for at least 25 years!
