Review on 🔧 Dorman 904-817 Vacuum Pump: Ideal Replacement for Audi and Volkswagen Models by Luis Baker

Replaced this and the rocker cover gasket on my wife's 2006 VW Beetle 2.5L. It was a two hour job, but not that hard, just in an awkward place. I found a video on YouTube showing the process. This put an end to a liter of oil stains under the car a month. The side effect of the leak was that the oil had eaten into the control arm bushings, so have them checked if you need to replace that to fix a major leak. At the time of replacement, the car had 154,000 and it did not flow for about 5 months. Oh, and buy a pump seal - this pump doesn't come with it.
