Works great if you have the right scanner
Works great with my scan tools. It even works with my much cheaper boot scanner crp429, which surprised me. Works well when I'm doing a quick mobile diagnosis at used car dealerships. This cable and other similar cables for other older cars MUST be used with an obd1 compatible and self-powered scanner. They won't work with cheap Bluetooth, wireless, or handheld scanners under $500.
