Possibly the best birthday present I've ever bought for myself and my girlfriend. They are so comfortable and so easy to put on and take off. At first I was worried about whether it would be painful to inflate and deflate every time and the answer is no. You are wonderful. A word of advice, we bought an inexpensive hand pump that was recommended when you bought it and has a pressure gauge, but since the valves on this raft are one-way valves it's difficult to get an accurate reading (because no air will come out again when you stop pumping.) One-way valves are great, but I haven't figured out the trick to measuring pressure yet. We're just trying not to overdo it. Indeed, this is a very chic pool float. Catch some air and start paddling! Take the pump with you if you're worried about it. It easily hides in the back of the kayak.
