Review on πŸ’₯ Topeak Nano TorqBar 6: The Ultimate 6nm Torque Wrench with 5 Tool Bits by Danny Flores

Revainrating 4 out of 5

many small pieces

I was hoping for this gadget. Some reality: 1. The manual warns that using a torque wrench to loosen a nut can damage the gauge.2. It makes sense to remove both the metal sleeve and the torque limiter. I use a little on either end of the drive rod. Short end for torque and long end for speed, similar to using an L-shaped hex wrench. Switching back and forth can get tiring.3. I've added to the limited set of disk bits that I like the most. For example, a 6mm hex and a Philips socket are useful to start with. For this money should have been this and more.4. In practice, I had to constantly switch between bits and move bits to the other end of the drive rod, fiddling with many other small details. I have no problem with how quiet the torque limiter is because I'm more watching it move than listening to the click. I would like a case for the price. Even a faux leather pencil case is enough to prevent scratches. I thought I would show off this device on group tours, but now I know that traditional tools are lighter, simpler and better.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
