Well made, Topeak Nano TorqBar 6 is very compact and weighs about 75 grams with 4 bits (the 5th bit weighs another 5 grams). TorqBar contains 2 bits inside and 2 bits outside - one bit at the end. The torque setting of 6Nm was identical to the setting obtained for the Mariposa Pro torque wrench.

Good preset torque screwdriver for carbon bike frames

This is a handy pre-installed torque screwdriver for seat posts and other commonly removed/adjusted carbon bike frame components. I don't have anything else in the 6Nm range to test the torque so I have to assume it's close enough. The magnets in the handle holding the bits have already fallen out, hence a star deduction for durability.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Some disadvantages

According to Topeak this is the smallest torque wrench on the market. On the 2014-2017 Cannondale Synapse Carbon, the seatpost clamp bolt is parallel and very close to the seatpost itself. The 25.4mm Cannondale SAVE internal seatpost bolt also only accepts a miniature torque wrench. This tool allows me to properly tighten those hard-to-reach bolts after adjusting these components. It will also come in handy for other mechanical work on the bike.

Great purchase after removing too many threads.

I love this thing! It's compact, lightweight, fits in a saddlebag and allows me to adjust the bike anywhere without risk of loosening a screw or thread. packaging complexity. The rod works well as a bit driver and contains two bits inside, but if you need more than two you'll need to use the included gray case. This wastes some space in a small bag, since you have to take both the latch and the gray case with you. So if you only want to carry one barbell, make sure you don't have to tighten the

many small pieces

I was hoping for this gadget. Some reality: 1. The manual warns that using a torque wrench to loosen a nut can damage the gauge.2. It makes sense to remove both the metal sleeve and the torque limiter. I use a little on either end of the drive rod. Short end for torque and long end for speed, similar to using an L-shaped hex wrench. Switching back and forth can get tiring.3. I've added to the limited set of disk bits that I like the most. For example, a 6mm hex and a Philips socket are useful…
