Review on Baxton Studio Ottomans Light Antique by Christopher Lewis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Sturdy but possibly overpriced

Most of the furniture on offer at Revain seems to have at least doubled since the Great Pandemic. This stool is no exception. The pillow is nice, good quality, made of good fabric. No problem with the strength of the wooden platform. Installing the foot bolts is a little awkward due to the angle you have to screw them in with the hex tool. Doable, but could be made a lot easier. I'm not sure what the little L brackets are actually for. I didn't feel like they offered much extra support so I just didn't include them. I also didn't feel the need to attach the pillow to the wooden stand as it already fits nice and snugly. If fixing the legs weren't so cumbersome, it would be 5 stars despite the higher price, because all the furniture from Asia is suddenly much more expensive now. However, good enough for a solid 4 stars.
