Simply good. A bit of a loser.

Very good price. My expectations were much higher than a slicer can meet. Advantages. Price. It works adequately. minuses. With a 9 inch blade you would think it could cut longer pieces of product, the problem is the tray isn't long enough. for processing anything longer than about 6 1/2 inches. The blade is removable for cleaning, but the tray is not. Which can get pretty messy. It would be nice if it could be easily detached for a good cleaning. product holder. The clear plastic piece that you press against the food you're slicing has little plastic dots that are pretty much useless. As soon as the sliced product hits the main knife, the knife twists, turns, pushes or throws the product out of the slicer. The distance between the product tray and the rear stop is quite large. The product tries to slide between the sliding food table and the back gauge, resulting in poorly cut product and more mess. Now I'm slicing up homemade bacon, a small boneless ham, and a ribeye steak. The bacon came out pretty good, but you'll need a helper to remove the slices from the back of the slicer so they don't get sucked back into the slicer. The ham sliced well, but don't expect a shaved ham with this cut. It is not capable. The steak was a challenge. It was too thin (about 2.5 cm thick) to use the clear product slider. I gave it two stars mainly because I wouldn't have bought it if I had experienced the slicer before buying it. Now that I have it, it will fit. Nothing special but it just seems like they are doing it now. bad, little thinking other than mass production, market and sale.
