I would say that this cable is excellent value for money and does the job. It converts DVI to HDMI. I'm using DVI from my graphics card on an old desktop PC to a budget projector. The picture quality isn't the best no matter how this projector is connected, but for some reason the fonts in the folder text and file names appear different when I switch from HDMI to HDMI to this option. I've used DVI out to DVI in on a second monitor in the past and never noticed a difference (between the exact same displays side by side). Again, no big deal. but something caught my eye the moment I got everything working. The benefit of being able to use a dual output desktop monitor and projector for the $10 I paid for this cable is amazing. So if this is your only option, I highly recommend it!
