Benefits - Lightweight, solid construction for longer battery life. Uses optional lens protectors (sold separately) designed for the larger cage. Including quick-change bracket. 2 cold shoe mounts. Access to the memory card and the USB port. Cons: - The quick release is stuck on some GoPro mounts. Will not work with the PGYTech quick release system. Not a big issue but I like this mount over the screw mount. Removing the body still requires unscrewing the 1" modular lens. Ulanzi makes an aluminum body - BUT they cannot remove the lens protector. I will give a separate review on that. I recommend this product as it is versatile and after all someone has one Added 360 degree lens protection.
