Extends a three prong socket into three more three prong sockets. It's built very well, is rated up to 15 amps, the maximum for most home circuits, and it's exactly what you'd expect. A couple of interesting points are the location of the outlets. Make sure they are pointing in the right direction for you. If you have larger power supplies that require more space, not all 3 will fit, and the leftmost side will only fit a standard plug as it faces inward towards the wall. Also, the UL certified sticker is at the top (assuming your ground wire is at the bottom) and stands out when you don't need the sticker at the top. That's exactly what I need. It's fairly bulky, has a sticker on top, and is oriented in directions that may or may not work for you. But for me it's perfectly aligned, very well built, supports 15A and good solid connections, which is great.
