Perfect! It's on the thinner side. Good for HOT days. The shorts have 3 pockets (Hotwheels๐คฆ๐พโโ๏ธ). 2 front trimmed with something like plastic. I think it is cool. My son puts cars in his pockets, I'd be embarrassed if one broke through. You can't tell until you put your hand inside. GRATITUDE!
