Bought these for a group in the country when we pick up rubbish on our hikes. The oldest children in the group are 8-10 years old. Before I could use them for an outdoor group, I took some neighborhood kids to pick up litter in the area and 4 of the boys were between 8 and 12 years old. These gloves were so tight that 10 and 12 year olds couldn't use them and my 8 year old said they were quite tight and he was a slim kid. I agree with other reviews that they may be the best for 5-6 year olds.
