I didn't like this product at all, but not because of the design. Spike is hard work. I live in Austin, Texas and the bedrock beneath my soil was stunning. We drove into a spike and she stopped 12 inches from the end. The move took over an hour, 3 people worked on it. The spike went into the rock and we had to dig it out and use jack stands to get it out. Just post this so other Texans or those with rock problems will think twice before ordering online. I wish I had bought one from Home Depot instead of buying 4 packs here. Hardware stores sell them for a little less than you can buy them online. I don't have $98 right now and can't use the other 3 posts. I took off one star for the price and the pricing policy. The product itself is outstanding. I wouldn't risk bringing this back as I feel it's not the companies fault that their product is unable to penetrate bedrock. They charge a 15% restocking fee which makes it very hassle to return anything. Do yourself a favor, hop in your car and buy one of these local ones before ordering online. I would like to have.
