I wouldn't call these replacement updates. The original foam face pads that come with the headset are abrasion-resistant, scratch-resistant and sweat-wicking. These interchangeable pads are very different, they prevent sweat from penetrating the foam to then press it against your face during play. They're much easier to clean, generally cooler, and more comfortable. I highly recommend making changes if you have sweating problems while playing. The only recommendation for the manufacturer is to include a plastic center piece to help guide the pads to the perfect center when installing.
