I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of these timers for the price I bought them. They also contained batteries. You can use a timer to count down the minutes you set and when you press the start/stop button it counts up to show you how much time has passed if that's the info you're looking for. It has a very good magnet even with 4 sheets of regular carbon paper. My stove's metal didn't hold up well, but the fridge does. It also has an on/off switch which I didn't notice at first and is very slick. Very clear function keys and numbers are big enough to be seen at a glance. Distance.
