My ZTR and spindle bearings started to growl. To get to the support, the deflection pulley must be removed. Whoever worked on this last one must have used an industrial impact tool because I couldn't loosen the nut. Use this tool to hold the pulley while trying to loosen the nut. Still does not work. If there was a 30" cheater on the jack and this thing (10" grip only) wasn't. The pins kept slipping off the pulley hub (one side pushing and the other pulling). Constantly slipped out of the hub holes. Might have worked with a wrench extension and had a second person push the pins in so they stay in the pulley holes. I finally got the nut off after buying my own percussion gun, but it still took over 30 seconds of constant hammering and using a wrench to loosen the nut.
