Review on Enhance Door Protection with YEE PIN Anti-Kick Pad Mats for Mazda CX-30 2019 2020 (Carbon Fiber) by Robert Norris

I have reviewed this product on several Mazda cx30 web forums and most of the users have been very satisfied. That's why I bought the kit. And I give high marks for the quality of the material and the fit. BUT the quality of the glue used (on the back) was not up to specification. Before installing, I wiped the door panel with rubbing alcohol, let it dry, then wiped again with acetone to ensure no grease or dirt could interfere with the bond. I carefully placed the mats on the door panel, pressing and smoothing them out. off.good fit. But after a few minutes, the top corner, bottom corner, and top edge along the door pocket came loose, with both corners actually sagging and curling backwards. I pressed again and left the car alone, hoping the glue would hold. A few hours later I checked again. There are no jams in corners. I've asked on the Mazda forum and others have said they have no problem. So I went back, removed the floor mats, wiped them down again with acetone/alcohol and tried again. This time the whole mat didn't stick or stick. So they came. Sorry for being so verbose, but I wanted to clearly describe my process and outcome. I hope you do better than me ;-)
