Too bad I didn't read the real reviews and relied on the overall rating. The feathers on them are very tight. I've tried grabbing the device at the other end of a real tea ball - maybe not the best way, but I've never used it. I did this to avoid sticking my whole hand in the kettle. Somehow I lost grip on the handle, it flew open and the tea flew everywhere. Definitely not a good start. I'm still debating whether to send them back. Looking at all the reviews, I'm a bit suspicious - how can so many marginal reviews get an overall rating of four plus?
