They work great when you're not in the mood to brew a full kettle. I use one of these at work to make tea and it's been great! The spring is really strong and it's all well thought out!

Worked great initially but after 1 week of moderate use 1 broke and the second broke after a month. No way to fix. Wouldn't spend money knowing they're so fragile they're almost disposable.

I bought these about a week ago and I can already see the benefits. I'm new to tea drinking and have a few sachets that are always opened while I'm drinking tea. I just started pouring tea in it, bam! It swells faster and to be honest I think the tea is stronger this way. Easy to use, with plenty of pressure between the baskets so nothing spills out. Toss in the dishwasher or simply rinse and reuse.

NOT advertised 1.8 inch! This net actually measures 1.3 inches, which is half an inch smaller than advertised. I was looking for a large tea ball. While it does the work for my daughters cups of tea. Easy to clean, looks like stainless steel, tough mechanism to keep liner inside. BUT . It doesn't let me brew a full pot, so I ordered them. Not sending back but disillusioned by blatant FALSE ADVERTISING!

Too bad I didn't read the real reviews and relied on the overall rating. The feathers on them are very tight. I've tried grabbing the device at the other end of a real tea ball - maybe not the best way, but I've never used it. I did this to avoid sticking my whole hand in the kettle. Somehow I lost grip on the handle, it flew open and the tea flew everywhere. Definitely not a good start. I'm still debating whether to send them back. Here it is. Once and for all. The photo shows a large tea ball. These are NOT the large tea balls shown in the photo BUT THESE are the highest quality tea balls. They are dense and firm and large enough for medium ground loose tea. If you're using loose tea, which is mostly broken leaves and not medium grind, you'll love the large tea balls.
