Very disappointed. Not suitable.
I bought a Rubbermaid 12qt jar that this lid was supposed to fit (it even said it was in the 'frequently purchased together' section on the jar page). Judging by the photos, it's not even close. Good 1/4" side clearance and 1/4" overhang in front. Heat escapes easily.
