These heaters switch off for various reasons. I live in a leaky apartment with no heating. It is enough to heat a small apartment like mine, but since this morning I am satisfied with this heater. It's the coldest winter this whole winter and I can't turn this thing off while I sleep. That's the whole reason I woke up and am writing this; I hate waking up from the cold with scratchy lungs. I am giving this product 3 stars because some of you may want a heater that turns itself off. I've found it to turn off for the following reasons: if it falls on your face (which is great, because who wants their bottom to melt?), if something is too close in front of it, and if there's too much moisture in the Air.
