Review on MENZO Universal Regulated Switching Computer by John Miller

Revainrating 4 out of 5

So far, so good! Excellent value for money for a 30A socket.

Some other reviewers mentioned that some of the 10 and 20 amp versions were DOA so I tested mine right away! It worked fine as soon as I connected it. I've been running non-stop at 9.5 amps for about an hour now and the unit doesn't even get hot! The fan hasn't turned on yet, but that's okay since the temperature of the whole thing is just above room temperature. I'll be sure to let you know if the device fails in the near future. Incidentally, a short voltage test with load yielded the following result when setting the built-in potentiometer: Turning it anti-clockwise reduced the voltage to 10.0 volts. Clockwise the voltage rose to 15.04 volts. A minus, the front left corner is slightly bent, see photo above left.
