We have a 20 gallon tank and plan on enlarging it later. Currently we both have bridges leading to the back of the tank, but as we get bigger we will connect the bridge. The quality of these locks is good, they were not damaged in transit. We had a pile of styrofoam to wash off the packaging but that's better than a broken product. The pits/caverns are large enough for German blue sheep and pygmy gouramis to swim through with ease. Our snail also likes to hide there for a few days and then come out like Godzilla and perch on top of the castle. We chose this product because at $100 for both halves it's a pretty big chunk and we wanted something big to fill our tank with. Big stores sell a 3/4 this size for $70, so for $30 you can get a pretty big piece that works well and the fish like. I recommend this product
