I don't usually write reviews. In this case I make an exception. If you have HHR, not only will this product not fit, but it will also damage your vehicle. In the first picture you can see that both posts have the same overall length. The replacement strut has a shorter stem than the original unit and bottomed out when I closed the hood. This broke the ear bracket on the hood (2nd photo). On the 3rd photo you can see the fastening eyelet in the frame. The mount is out of stock so I had to go to a landfill to have it replaced. BEWARE!
