It doesn't give you any info on how to attach it to the tank but after some trial and error I figured it out. Make sure your jar is clean, then place the suction cup on the jar (easier when both parts are together), apply pressure to the jar and turn the parts clockwise until they stop spinning. The peel stays in place until you remove it from the jar. Great for chopped veggies or broken fruit or even mealworms (they can't get out). I even stuck a little cricket in there to see. It stayed in the bowl until my chameleon was ready for it. Great idea, especially if you don't have a lot of space in a glass cage.
