Review on Sony MC90 Microcassette Audio Tapes - Pack of 6 by Mark Gilbert

I got this 6 pack as I have a J-300 and a J-500 Olympus Pearlcorder that I use every day and need a spare on hand to fix the ripcord to cover I like the Sony 90s as they seem a bit better than most. I note that the tape end trimming function on the J-300 and J-500 seems to depend on a pinch pulling the feed spool toward the heads, causing the "latch" to grab the machine and push it out of play. Mode. Sometimes not enough torque is generated to break the machine and it keeps pulling on the band, which in my cases may have broken the band. So I have to replace the tape. I understand that Sony doesn't make them anymore, so sooner or later I'll have to change either the recording method or what I prefer. Since they're really helping me now, I'll keep buying them as long as they don't get too expensive. Good buy for me.
