Review on Enhanced ACDelco Professional 214-2296 PCV Valve for Positive Crankcase Ventilation by Tom Duncan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It fits, it's a well-known brand and the price is right.

Fits my 2001 3.1 Grand Prix engine and costs about $3. I'm assuming he's doing what he's supposed to do because the warning lights didn't come on. There was a time when I thought I overpaid for parts at parts stores, but now I know for sure that I am and I had to drive 40 miles to one of them to do it. I get most of my parts from this site now and in a few days they will be on my doorstep. The downside to the replacement is that my vacuum line was fine, but the rubber boot was so brittle that it fell apart during the removal process. That's a downside of an old car, but the upside is that I can do repairs in my garage without being connected to a computer. It's a pass/fail element so if it doesn't light up it's 5 stars...plus it's ACDelco so it's as close to OEM as I'll get.

Pros
  • PCV valves, breathers and accessories
Cons
  • Minor repair
