Good Price Quality Part

Works Perfectly; easy to replace on my 2000 Buick Century. I saved a few cents by buying from AMAZON instead of auto parts chains.

  • Poorly Thought Out

Works as expected in PCV valves

I was replacing a faulty MAP sensor on a 3800 Series 2 and decided to replace the PCV just below the MAP sensor in a circular flange on the left hand side of the intake manifold. . The work took no more than 10 minutes. Don't forget to include the spare PVC O-ring as the O-ring is not included.

Also, the rubber hose that attaches to the top can be very brittle, tearing and breaking when you try to remove it from the old one or put it on the new one. I had to buy a new hose from an auto parts store because the old one ripped and broke off. So life is.

There was a time when I thought I overpaid for parts at parts stores, but now I know for sure that I am and I had to drive 40 miles to one of them to do it. I get most of my parts from this site now and in a few days they will be on my doorstep. The downside to the replacement is that my vacuum line was fine, but the rubber boot was so brittle that…
