I have used this mat more than 5 times and it can be used many more times. I am very happy with this purchase. I have used it to remove clear coat swirl on trim on several vehicles. Between "passes" or polishes, I take an air hose and blow out the residue to keep it clean and apply new polish to the pad. If you know what you are doing, this rug can serve you for a long time. I use a fine pad polish. I am very satisfied with this product!
