Unlike many HDMI cables, this one is ugly. It's very well made, with quality ports and cables, but its looks are strictly utilitarian. It was good for my purposes because it was intended to be used in a place where it wouldn't be visible. I wanted a quality cable and didn't care how it looked so this cable was the perfect choice. Note: the connector pins were protected by a plastic cap and the connector shell, strain relief and boots were protected by a piece of stretchable teflon sleeve - that kind of attention to detail tells me they care about putting out a quality product.
